Forum Rules: Encouraging Positive Discussions

edited August 13 in General

Welcome to the ConsciousEd forums! Feel free to post about whatever is on your mind or going on in your life right now - just please keep these rules in mind when engaging with the community:

1. No spam or self-promotion.

We know what marketing looks like so please refrain from repeatedly linking to your products or services without actively contributing to conversations.

2. Don't start new topics just to point people to a blog post.

In the same vein, please don't start topics just to get community members to visit a post on a different website. On the other hand, if a post is relevant to an existing conversation, then by all means share it!

3. Please don't post copyrighted content.

If in doubt, keep it out.

4. Be friendly and respectful to other members.

It's definitely possible to disagree with others without attacking, bullying shaming or threatening others. So please treat each other with the same respect you would expect to receive in your everyday life.

5. Keep it family friendly.

If your grandma would be shocked to hear you say something you're about to post, you should probably think about a different choice of words before you do :)

6. This forum is not a substitute for professional advice.

We built this forum for you to find support, advice and guidance. However, none of the advice exchanged between members should be seen as an endorsement by ConsciousEd and we make no claims as such. So disclaimer: in using the forums, you agree that ConsciousEd, its admins and moderators shall not be held liable for any claims - civil, criminal, or otherwise. Seek the advice of a professional if you are genuinely in need of counselling support and trained guidance.

7. Forum administrators reserve the right to delete threads and conversations at any time for any potential guideline violations.

8. Do help us keep this space a positive and protected one.

Its not always possible for admins and moderators to read every post in this forum. If you see something that may be in violation of these rules and guidelines, please send us a message or email to let us know about it.

Thank you for being part of the ConsciousEd community!
